Il a \u00e9videmment mis en avant notre slogan : \u00ab\u00a0Pour une nourriture bonne, propre et juste pour tous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En s&rsquo;appuyant sur l&rsquo;histoire de la grande famine en Irlande, il a indiqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il est vital notamment de maintenir une agriculture diversifi\u00e9e sur toute la plan\u00e8te.  D&rsquo;o\u00f9 l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de mettre en avant les esp\u00e8ces et vari\u00e9t\u00e9s menac\u00e9es. C&rsquo;est pourquoi Slow Food a mis en place une Arche du Go\u00fbt et des Sentinelles (comme la brousse du Rove, le petit \u00e9peautre ou les prud&rsquo;homies de patrons p\u00eacheurs de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>En 1845, un champignon parasite, le \u00ab\u00a0<strong>mildiou<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb, se propage dans les cultures. Les pertes humaines dues \u00e0 la\u00a0<strong>famine<\/strong>\u00a0sont tr\u00e8s importantes : pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un million de morts en\u00a0<strong>Irlande<\/strong>\u00a0pendant toute une d\u00e9cennie. Elle a provoqu\u00e9 aussi l&rsquo;\u00e9migration de milliers de personnes, surtout aux Etats Unis.
